Elbow are debating dressing as famous dead people for a forthcoming special concert.
The 'Grounds for Divorce' hitmakers are set to perform an intimate, stripped-down show in London's St. Paul's Cathedral Crypt on May 26 and are considering marking the occasional with unusual costumes.
Frontman Guy Garvey tweeted: "at the @absoluteradio st pauls crypt gig would it be bad taste for elbow to dress as the famous and interred? (sic)"
Referring to Admiral Nelson, poet John Donne and architect Christopher Wren, he added: "bagsy nelson or donne. how do you dress as wren? (sic)"
Tickets for the concert will be available only to Absolute Radio competition winners. For information on how to win, check www.absoluteradio.co.uk.
The station will broadcast the concert on June 5, which will also be filmed and able to view on the website.
Guy ' who is joined in the band by guitarist Mark Potter, keyboardist Craig Potter, bassist Pete Turner and drummer Richard Jupp ' recently admitted the group are living a "dream come true" because of their recent successes and experiences.
He said: "I feel so very lucky to be part of British music. I have, with my best friends, realised every childhood dream I've had.
"We've won awards, sold records and we're about to embark on our first arena tour. We've met our heroes, seen the world and been paid for it. Literally a dream come true."
