Stevie Nicks made it very clear in 2009 when the New York times asked her about the possibility of Lindsay Lohan playing her in a biopic, she said "Over my dead body. She needs to stop doing drugs and get a grip. Then maybe we'll talk."
That could be Nicks just getting older, but its most likely the singer using her life lessons to help someone get clean. Nicks has had a number of problems with addictions in the past and has at least two stays in rehab under her belt, so she knows the subject well. She also knows that you can beat the devil if you really work at it.
The Lohan/Nicks subject came up again just recently during an interview with CNN and Stevie made it clear that Lindsey is still in the same situation she was two years ago and her opinion hasn't changed. "She's never going to. That's never going to happen unless she cleans up her life and becomes the great actress I feel she can be. Everybody thinks I hate her, and it's not that at all.
"I just want her to get it together. I was completely messed up for a long time and I got it together. She's a very talented girl. If she could get it together, she could have a really big career and she could do great things."
